PSA Awarded Monitoring System Development Project

PSA has been awarded a development project from a leading company operating in the sector of high technology for railway and urban transport.

The primary objective for the project is to create a railroad monitoring system, which will be responsible for displaying events, alarms, logs, corrective actions, and other information that is site specific, and then making the information available on a web interface.

The system under development is a part of Positive Train Control (PTC) – a system that combines GPS, wireless radio and computers to monitor trains and stop them from colliding, derailing or speeding. After creation and installation, PCT will reduce the number of rail accidents in the future.
