PSA to Develop Self-Testing Disagnostic Function for a Logic Board

One of our partners, TouchPad Electronics, has engaged with PSA to develop a function of self-test diagnostics for a logic board used to control the sampling of high temperature molten metals within an inert gas atmosphere. This project is for a customer of TouchPad’s and the system will be able to control system relays, user lights and monitoring of system flow meters and pressure switches. Users may configure the system through adjustable parameters. The self-diagnostics function will be initiated either through the board menu, using a combination of buttons, or from the adapter board which has been specially designed for self-testing during the project. The new diagnostic function will provide feedback connections between existing board inputs/outputs to detect hardware malfunctions.
